The 2026 National Earth System Science Research Competition (TESS 2026) will be hosted this year by the Department of Earth Sciences, National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU). We cordially invite faculty members to help share this announcement and encourage students to actively register and participate (graduating seniors of this year are also eligible to apply).

TESS has long served as a key platform for students in Earth system science-related fields across Taiwan to present their research outcomes. It provides students with opportunities to share research findings, gain academic presentation experience, and engage in cross-institutional exchange and learning with peers. All students with independent research results are welcome to submit their work.

Phase 1 registration deadline is June 30. At this stage, only the research title and a short abstract are required. Interested students are encouraged to seize this opportunity and register.

We warmly invite faculty and students from all universities to join us at TESS to showcase the research energy of Taiwan’s Earth system science students, as well as to foster inter-institutional exchange and collaboration.
