Important Notice for Phase 2 Interview of Undergraduate Application Admission (Academic Year 2026/2027)

  • Department: Department of Oceanography (Undergraduate Program)

  • Interview Date: Saturday, May 16, 2026

  • Check-in Time: 30 minutes prior to your scheduled interview time. (Please refer to the attached document for the interview timetable.)

  • Check-in Location: Room MA2025, College of Marine Sciences, National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU)

  • Campus Location: The College of Marine Sciences is located further from the main entrance and the Administration Building. Examinees and parents are advised to check the campus map and transportation information in advance to avoid delay.

Important Guidelines for the Interview:

  1. Required Identification: Examinees must present their "Phase 2 Examination Admission Ticket" and an "Original Photo ID" (National Identification Card, Driver's License, NHI Card with photo, valid Passport, or Alien Resident Certificate). Please pay close attention to your check-in time; late arrivals will be considered as forfeiture of the exam.

  2. Parking & Public Transit:

    • Vehicles may be parked in the parking spaces alongside the sea embankment next to the College of Marine Sciences. Please follow the traffic direction signs.

    • If arriving via MRT, take Exit 2 at Sizihwan Station and transfer to a bus to the department. In addition to the commercial bus route "Orange 1C" extending into campus, the university provides free shuttle buses during the interview period for examinees and parents (Alight at station: College of Marine Sciences).

  3. Interview Purpose: The interview aims to evaluate students' verbal expression, responsiveness, critical thinking, and fundamental knowledge related to oceanography.
