Dear Students,

A warm welcome to all newly admitted master's students to the Department of Oceanography at National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU)! Attached are the relevant documents for your registration for AY2026/2027 (including the second round of registration for early admissions).

Please read the instructions carefully and prepare all required documents. Complete your registration either in person on campus or by mail within the designated period. Late submissions will be regarded as a forfeiture of your admission status. Please pay close attention to the deadlines. Thank you!

Registration Guidelines:

1. Notification Date: Official emails were sent on March 17, 2026, and published on the Department of Oceanography website.

2. Registration Dates: March 23 (Mon), March 24 (Tue), and March 25 (Wed), 2026 (3 days total).

3. Registration Methods: Registration can be completed either in person or by mail. Please choose one of the following:

   • In Person: Submit your registration documents directly to the Department Office (Room MA2025).

   • By Mail: Send original registration documents to:

4. Registration Procedures:

   • Step 1: Visit the NSYSU Registrar Office website (http://selcrs.nsysu.edu.tw/stu_enroll), select the "Data Verification Prior to Registration" option, verify your personal profile, and print out the confirmation sheet.

   • Step 2: Submit (or mail) the following to the department office:

     • Personal Data Confirmation Sheet

     • Original diploma/degree certificate corresponding to your application (graduating seniors should submit the "Affidavit for Deferred Submission of Academic Credentials")

     • Photocopy of front and back of your National ID card (pasted onto the designated ID Card Photocopy Form)

   • Step 3: In-service students must additionally submit an "Employer Consent Form for Advanced Studies."

5. Forfeiture of Admission: If you decide to decline admission, you must fill out the "Declaration of Forfeiture of Admission Status" and mail it to the department office (postmarked by March 25, 2026).
