Alumni Career Paths in Public Service: From Law to Marine Administration, and From Science to Conservation (October 17, 2025)
This event invited two department alumni, Chen Yu-Wen (Class of 2019) and Tsai Hsiang-Ni (Class of 2020), to share their preparation strategies for the 2025 Civil Service Examinations.
Tsai Hsiang-Ni presented her experiences with an engaging style, explaining the connections between subjects studied during her university years and civil service exam topics. She shared how she decided to pursue the natural conservation category and described her focused preparation approach after graduation.
Chen Yu-Wen shared her career journey, having previously worked as a patent engineer. Motivated by a desire to apply her university learning, she decided to participate in the 2025 national civil service examination. Using actual exam questions as examples, she illustrated effective preparation strategies for the marine administration category of the higher civil service examination.
The sharing topics provided valuable insights for students interested in pursuing civil service careers. Both speakers generously responded to questions, sharing their experiences and perspectives.
