This forum brings together third and fourth year undergraduate students and faculty members from the Department of Oceanography through facilitated discussions, strengthening relationships and promoting mutual understanding. The program features brief introductions of faculty research interests and student self-introductions, helping participants gain deeper insights into one another. Additionally, to ensure that students have a comprehensive understanding of departmental operations, the Department Office was represented at the forum. Staff members presented brief overviews of their respective administrative functions and encouraged students to reach out should they have any questions or need assistance. The forum included a dedicated session for senior undergraduate students on graduate school application procedures within the university. The department also invited graduate program seminar speakers to join the gathering and share their research experiences with the students. The event concluded in a warm and collegial atmosphere.
