Faculty recruitment in the Department of Oceanography, National Sun Yat-sen University, Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

This is the second announcement of the Department of Oceanography at National Sun Yat-sen University (https://ocean.nsysu.edu.tw) for faculty recruitment. The department is looking to fill a tenure-track faculty position in one of the areas of marine biology, marine ecology or biological oceanography. The appointment will start on August 1, 2022. To be considered, applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree in disciplines mentioned above, more than two years of research experience abroad and capability of conducting independent research.

The rank at the time of appointment will commensurate with experience and accomplishment. The successful candidate is expected to teach both undergraduate and graduate (master and doctorate levels) courses in Mandarin and English, and to establish his/her own research program through external funding. This application deadline is Sep 30, 2021.
